We are seeking an Investment Analyst with a minimum of 3 years’ experience covering Asia Emerging Market. The ideal candidate should have a strong orientation toward fundamental research and with strong analytical skills. The analyst will work closely with portfolio managers to generate high-conviction investment ideas across Emerging Markets.

Responsibilities

1. Conduct deep-dive fundamental research on listed Emerging Market companies across sectors and regions.
2. Build financial models and conduct valuation and scenario analysis.
3. Write investment memos covering the investment thesis, catalysts, risks and valuation.
4. Present buy, sell and hold recommendations to portfolio managers with clear conviction levels.
5. Support portfolio construction, position sizing, risk management and diversification.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
2. At least 3 years’ experience in covering Asia Emerging markets, preferably on the buy side.
3. Strong company analysis, financial modelling and valuation skills.
4. Ability to form independent investment views and assess downside risks.
5. CFA designation or CFA candidate is preferred; MBA is a plus.
6. Strong written and spoken Chinese and English.
7. Independent, curious and evidence-driven thinker.
8. High integrity and willingness to challenge consensus views.
