Job Title: Credit & Risk Control Officer / Manager

Location: Central, Hong Kong

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct credit evaluations and risk assessments for mortgage loan applications, prepare comprehensive credit assessment reports and credit approval proposals for management review.
2. Support loan portfolio administration by maintaining system records, monitoring account status changes, and ensuring data integrity throughout the loan lifecycle.
3. Oversee accounts receivable operations, including debt collection and recovery strategies. Collaborate closely with loans and legal teams to ensure timely settlement of outstanding balances.
4. Prepare loan portfolio analysis reports and related credit risk analyses for management review.
5. Support daily risk control functions and administrative activities within brokerage operations.
6. Assist in audits and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to regulatory and internal standards.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
2. Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in mortgage lending, credit analysis, or loan administration within financial services industry.
3. Strong familiarity with credit and mortgage loan assessment and approval processes.
4. Excellent command of both English and Chinese, with strong communication and reporting skills.
5. SFC 1, 2, 4, 6 & 9 licensed

Preferred Skills

1. Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills, particularly in debt collection and restructuring.
2. Effective cross-department collaboration skills.
3. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
4. Experience with loan management systems and risk control platforms.
