Job Duty :

1. Acquire new LO and HF clients and maintain existing ones mainly via selling of IPOs and cash equity trading to maximize clients’ share of wallet
2. Execute order instructions from institutional clients with good sense in risk management and compliance
3. Daily communications with institutional clients on market colors, fund flows and trade ideas
4. Collaborate closely with institutional sales and dealers
5. Familiar with operation flows, liaison with various back office departments including but not limited to Client Services, Credit, Settlement, L&C and IT to ensure all trading transactions are end-to-end conducted smoothly and complied
6. Rotation of daily morning market briefs, grey market and severe weather on-duty trades
7. Other ad hoc projects

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor degree with major in Business Administrations, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics or related field is preferred
2. SFC HK Type 1 & Type 4 representative
3. Minimum 5-year equity sales trading experience with well-built LO and HF client relationships
4. Familiar with selling of IPOs, block trades and other cash equity products
5. Strong technical analysis ability and user of Bloomberg, Fidessa, iAsia
6. Entrepreneurship, highly self-motivated with multi-tasking ability and able to work under pressure
7. Outgoing, strong interpersonal skills and a team play
8. Fluent in both written and verbal communications in English, Mandarin and Cantonese are plus
