Lead Software Engineer - Clod & Data Platforms (m/f/d)

We are seeking an experienced Tech Lead / Lead Engineer to spearhead the design, development, and delivery of or next-generation pricing, sales and marketing platforms, sch as or dynamic pricing software platform. This individal will lead a team of engineers to bild a data-intensive application leveraging AWS clod services, Java, and Python, ensring high scalability, performance, and robstness. This is a hands-on leadership role: yo will set the technical vision, gide architectral decisions, and contribte directly to coding and soltion design while mentoring and developing yor team.

How yo will create an impact:




Leadership & Strategy

Define and drive the technical roadmap for the dynamic pricing platform.

Lead, mentor, and grow a cross-fnctional team of software engineers and data engineers.

Champion engineering best practices, agile development, and DevOps cltre.

Architectre & Development

Architect a clod-native, data-heavy pricing system on AWS with high reliability and scalability.

Write clean, high-performance code in Java, PySpark/Spark and Python while setting coding standards for the team.

Leverage modern AI-assisted development tools to accelerate software delivery, improve code qality, and continosly evolve engineering practices across the team.

Oversee core modles for pricing algorithms, real-time data processing, analytics, and AI/ML-enabled components, trning advanced models into scalable, prodction-ready soltions. Ensre seamless integration of data pipelines, APIs, and third-party systems.

Data & Performance

Design systems capable of ingesting, transforming, and analyzing strctred and nstrctred datasets with PySpark/Spark.

Optimize comptation-heavy models and qeries for low-latency, high-throghpt pricing operations.

Implement monitoring, alerting, and cost optimization strategies in AWS.

Collaboration & Delivery

Work closely with prodct managers, data scientists, and bsiness stakeholders to align technology with bsiness otcomes.

Translate complex pricing or sales reqirements into scalable, prodction-ready software.

Ensre timely delivery of featres with a balance of speed, qality, and technical debt management.

Abot yo:




Technical Expertise

Yo have a bachelor's or master's degree in Compter Science, Software Engineering, Bsiness Information Systems, or a related field.

Strong programming backgrond in Java and / or Python, ideally demonstrated throgh relevant certifications.

Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise level software.

Deep knowledge of AWS (Certification) clod services (e.g., EC, S3, RDS, EMR, Lambda, ECS/EKS, Gle, Redshift).

Proficiency in bilding APIs, microservices, and distribted systems.

nderstanding of data modeling, ETL pipelines, and high-performance compting.

Leadership & Delivery

5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least + years in a technical leadership role.

Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire engineering teams, drive architectral decisions, and deliver complex software projects.

Experience working with agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred

Exposre to AI / machine learning algorithms applied to pricing or similar domains.

Experience with or strong interest in AI-assisted software engineering and modern developer tooling.

Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kbernetes).

Experience in fintech, e-commerce, travel, or retail pricing systems.
