Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international steel trading house looking to hire a Futures Steel Trader to join the commercial team in Shanghai.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- Responsible for/In charge of build future strategies for steel trading business and their implementation into steel markets
- Responsible for running a proprietary derivatives steel and scrap futures book
- Perform macro and supporting analysis on Chinese and International Steel markets
- Derive insights from the international steel merchants to support decisions on physical position taking
- Reports into Director, Steel Trading
Key Qualifications / Experience
- 4+ years of quantitative trading experience in high-frequency trading of one or more futures
- Must be highly competitive, driven and disciplined
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
- Background includes physical trading experience
- Based in Shanghai
