KPMG Belgium is expanding its SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) capabilities and is looking for a lead to help shape and grow our fast-evolving team. This is a unique opportunity to combine hands-on SAP GTS expertise with business development and practice-building responsibilities.



As our SAP GTS lead, you will:

• Lead and deliver SAP GTS implementation and optimization projects for our clients.


• Translate client trade & customs requirements into robust SAP GTS solutions (compliance, customs, trade preference, embargo/sanctions, etc.).


• Act as a trusted advisor to clients on global trade, customs processes and system design.


• Guide and coordinate project teams, ensuring quality, timing, and budget.


• Support pre-sales activities: solution scoping, effort estimation, proposal writing, demos and presentations.


• Drive business development together with partners and directors:
  
  
  
  • Identify new opportunities at existing and new clients
  
  
  • Help shape go-to-market offerings around SAP GTS and global trade
  
  
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and a personal network in the market
  
  


• Contribute to the growth of the SAP GTS practice:
  
  
  
  • Mentor and coach junior colleagues
  
  
  • Help define methodologies, templates, and best practices.
  
  
  • Actively contribute to knowledge sharing and training sessions.

Skills & Qualifications

• You have 7 or more years of hands-on experience with SAP GTS.


• You understand international trade and customs processes.


• You have experience in managing projects and/or workstreams, preferably in a consulting environment.


• You are eager to be client-facing and take an active role in business development (pre-sales, proposals, networking, solution shaping).


• You combine a strategic mindset with a pragmatic, delivery-focused approach.


• You are a strong communicator, able to explain complex topics clearly to both business and IT stakeholders.
  You enjoy working in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment and are comfortable with taking ownership.


• You shape how AI is embedded into your own projects; take ownership of data governance and ensure AI initiatives are aligned with business goals and compliant with our standards.


• You are fluent in English with good knowledge of Dutch and/or French.
