Roles & Responsibilities
About Us
At KPMG Belgium, you will join a team of diverse and dedicated problem solvers, connected by a common cause: to turn insight into opportunity for clients and communities around the world.
The M&A Advisory team, part of KPMG's Deals & Strategy practice, aims to advise clients on potential sales, mergers and acquisitions of companies. The team supports clients throughout the various phases of an M&A transaction and contributes from the very early stages, during which a client (corporate or private shareholder) considers the strategic path forward, through to the final phase, supporting the signing and closing of an agreement.
What will the role involve?
As a member of the M&A Deals Advisory team, you will be responsible for supporting business origination efforts, executing transactions and supporting senior team members in further developing the M&A and corporate finance service offering of KPMG Belgium.
Key responsibilities include:
- Regarding transaction execution, you are expected to support key workstreams including, among others, preparing high-quality transaction documentation, coordinating due diligence, financial modelling, in-depth financial and business plan analysis, and valuation, while demonstrating the required expertise in process management across the entire transaction lifecycle;
- Assist in preparing value-added pitch content and supporting the strategic dialogue with clients. This includes helping to build sector knowledge, mapping the M&A market across various sectors, assisting in identifying key targets, and gathering relevant market intelligence;
- In essence, demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and contribute to origination efforts in M&A;
- Actively contribute to the development of more junior members of the M&A team, supporting them in achieving high-quality standards in transaction origination and execution.
Individual initiative and ambition contribute directly to KPMG's success. Regardless of role or location, impact, leadership, and collaborative success are recognized and valued.
